glassroots bulb vases

Here is an article about Margaret Howdle (sadly no longer with us) and the glassroots hyacinth vases she produced.

I've been lucky enough to find three of her bulb (2 hyacinth and 1 crocus) vases on ebay.

the cranberry one is marked "glassroots 83/250", the green one has nothing on the base

sadly the cat broke the crocus one, this pic shows how badly the cranberry vase has been water stained
